Bluebird Tea Co

Confessions of a tea addict - Bluebird Tea Co | Review

I said it before and I will say it again - I love tea. Especially when the weather is cold and rainy, I like nothing more than to put on my PJ's, light on a candle and curl in with a hot cuppa (OK, having a piece of cake would be a cherry on top). In the past few months, I was looking to discover new tea blends. The problem I find is that a lot of tea companies mainly carry simple blends like breakfast tea, peppermint and earl grey. There is nothing wrong with these cupboard staples and nation favourites but I was really looking for something more exciting, something I would look forward to trying. After a simple search I stumbled upon Bluebird Tea Co and oh boy, I think I found myself! They currently have 79 tea blends and 10 different matcha flavours (counted on 08.02.2017)! What other company has such diverse range? And more important, the tea is made from quality ingredients so none of that paper bag-dust-nonsense!

Every time you open a bag you get a chance to truly appreciate the beauty of the blend. Every leaf, fruit, herb. It is like a work of art! It is easy to become mesmerised with the content, however, the best is still to come. I prefer to brew my tea in Qunona tea strainer set because I find very little tea (if any) manages to escape the strainer.  The smell which comes from brewing tea is simply incredible and the taste is very full and rich.

BRUU Subscription Box Review | Review

What can you give to a person who does not want anything? I am talking about my dad because my default option for mum for be some sort of skincare. He asked for a bottle of whiskey but since I am opposing both alcohol and smoking this option was not on the list. And then it struck me - a subscription box! I love tea and my parents usually like something more exciting than plain black so getting a tea subscription box would allow them to try out some new flavours. After a quick search I have settled on BRUU. They have a number of gift box options but I wanted a monthly delivery option rather than a one-off box so I went with £10/month plan + free P&P (1st box was half price with code BRUU). Each month you get 3 different flavours which should make around 40 cups of tea. You can personalise the selection to black, green, white, herbal, fruit, oolong, chai and rooibos tea. The subscription can be cancelled and paused by emailing the customer service.

Confessions of tea addict. Part 1 - teapigs

20:33

Hello guys, apologies for a very long break in my blog. But without further adue, let’s jump straight to the topic we’re here for!

Happy teapigs family
For those of you who haven’t seen my Youtube videos, I am a big fan of teas. I mean, I love teas so much I don’t have enough space on two shelves for all of them so I have to store some in my room (I am also a big hoarder which doesn’t make my job of keeping things tidy any easier). In the past I used to be rather unpretentious when it came to ‘having a cuppa’ after a meal – drop any bag of tea with a splash of hot water and some sugar for sweetness (it’s all about sweet life!) and I will be happy.  Nowadays, I got way more demanding with the choice of tea, so my safe bet when I’m on the go or visiting someone is coffee. From cheapest and suspicious looking dust to finest Arabica I can drink coffee in any form. In contrast, only tea of adequate quality would satisfy me.
